Don’t believe the non-hype; this election is critical. On November 2nd, the votes cast in Philadelphia may well determine our next governor and U.S. Senator, as well as the balance of power in the U.S. House of Representatives and the State legislature.

That’s why we need you to volunteer on November 2nd. People trust the Committee of Seventy to be the nonpartisan champion of fair elections in Philadelphia, and the service that Seventy volunteers provide is invaluable. As a Seventy volunteer, you will visit polling places with a partner on Election Day and answer questions from “Where’s my polling place?” to “They don’t have my name on the rolls. What do I do?”

Better yet, volunteer with a friend or two. We’ll pair you up. We will provide training, materials, and the 1-866-OUR-VOTE hotline so you can answer your neighbors’ questions (small and large) and help ensure a smooth voting experience for all.
