Join YPN for the first Know the CEO, a new program series designed to give YPN members the chance to talk to regional CEOs in an exclusive setting and learn how they became successful leaders within their fields. The series will kick off with Philadelphia businessman and Jewelers Row staple, Steven Singer.
The program, which will be held in a private conference room in the Singer Building, will feature a roundtable discussion with Mr. Singer as he discusses how his business grew on Jewelers Row and the marketing techniques he developed along the way. In addition, Mr. Singer will explore the opportunities and challenges of starting and running a business in Greater Philadelphia.
The entrance to the Singer Building is behind the store, on 8th Street between Walnut and Sansom Streets. Attendees can park in the garage on 8th and Walnut, above the 7-Eleven.
Attendees can support YPN’s annual fundraising campaign for the Summer Internships program by making donations towards the program at this event and others, or online. Donations go directly towards supporting an internship position.
Attendees can also purchase raffle tickets to win a meal with GPCC President and CEO Rob Wonderling; a Washington, D.C. tour package for four which includes tours of the United States Capitol Building, Capitol Visitors Center, Kennedy Center, Supreme Court Building, Library of Congress and more; or a two-hour “flight experience” for four at Lockheed Martin’s Fighter Demonstration Center in Arlington, VA, where you will have the opportunity to “fly” the F-35 Lightning II and F-22 Raptor cockpit demonstrators.
Each internship position costs employers $1,671. Last year, YPN was able to fund two paid internship positions through donations made by YPN members. Help us fund even more this year!
