Support early literacy in Philadelphia and inspire the value of reading by becoming a classroom Storyteller at the Chamber’s 13th Annual Read to Me Storyteller Event. Tax-deductible reader contributions help provide quality classroom book collections to thousands of students as part of this year-long initiative to encourage children to read with their parents, caregivers, or teachers. Participating as a Storyteller is a unique community engagement opportunity that also allows for building relationships with fellow civic and business leaders during the breakfast. In addition, the program provides teacher orientations to train educators on how to effectively bring the program into their classrooms. Each year, YPC is proud to participate in Read to Me.
