YPC Networking at Howl the Moon Philadelphia

On Thursday, August 23, 2018, members of the Chamber and Young Professionals Council joined forces at Howl at the Moon in Center City, known for its dueling pianos, for a Business After Hours networking event.

Conversation was flowing over drinks and appetizers on the balmy summer evening, with attendees coming from as far away as Wilmington, DE and Collegeville, PA — and as close as around the block — to meet new people and forge business relationships. The group welcomed many new faces who were attending their first Chamber networking event, as well as veterans who are regulars at YPC and Chamber functions.

The dueling pianos kept the environment lively with a diverse soundtrack throughout the evening, playing everything from 70s hits like Billy Joel’s “Movin’ Out,” to jams such as “When We Were Young” by The Killers, to current chart-toppers like Dua Lipa’s “New Rules.”

As attendees mixed and mingled, they shared what brought them to the event that evening. Some people, including a few newcomers to Philadelphia, came solo in an attempt to make new connections in a welcoming environment; others came in groups alongside coworkers; and yet others attended because they never miss a Chamber event!
